Summary
AlertaParques does not collect, store, or process personal information on any server. Data you enter in the adventure card is saved only in your own device's local storage.
Adventure card
The adventure card lets you enter personal and medical data (name, ID/passport, phone, blood type, medical conditions, allergies, medications, emergency contact, and trip details).
- ✓ This data is stored exclusively in your browser's or PWA's localStorage, directly on your device.
- ✓ It is never sent to any AlertaParques server or to any third party.
- ✓ AlertaParques has no access to this information at any time.
- ✓ You can delete your data at any time by clearing the site data from your browser or app settings.
Alert subscriptions
If you subscribe to alerts for a park (by email or push notifications), we store your email address or device push identifier in our database, solely to send you the weather alerts you requested.
- → We do not share your email with third parties.
- → You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in the alert emails or from the alerts page.
- → We do not use your email for marketing or any communication beyond the alerts you requested.
Website data
AlertaParques.cl does not install tracking cookies or use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics). The only storage technologies used are:
- • localStorage: to save your adventure card and language preference, only on your device.
- • Service Worker / PWA cache: to enable offline use of the site, stored locally on your device.
Weather data
Weather conditions and alerts shown by AlertaParques come from Open-Meteo, a public weather API. Requests to this API do not include any personal data about you.
